This is our stock nasya oil for nasal and/or sinus congestion and chronic infection. Contains equal parts neem leaf (Azadirachta indica), bayberry bark (Myrica cerifera), mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus), ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinalis), and licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), in a base of sesame oil, prepared as a 1:3 extract. Unlike traditional oil extractions in Ayurveda, this is prepared by macerating the ground herbs in alcohol, and then extracting this in sesame oil with gentle heat, ensuring that there is no water in the final preparation.

To use, instill 2-5 drops into each nostril 1-2x/daily snuffing the oil back into the nasopharynx, and expectorating the oil/mucus from the mouth. Best performed after a shower and/or apply a warm/wet compress to the face/sinus region. For best results, following application, implement nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing).
